about

UX researcher by day, internet scuba diver by night.

Harshali Wadge holding a model brain in front of UC Berkeley's Campanile

I'm Harshali Wadge — a UX researcher at Amazon Web Services, where I support the Identity and Cloud Governance space. I run mixed-methods research for complex B2B cloud products and think a lot about how people make sense of the tools they're handed.

Before tech I was a cognitive scientist. I studied Cognitive Science at UC Berkeley and Human–Computer Interaction at Georgia Tech, and spent my early years running EEG studies and chasing statistically significant trends. While I no longer study the brain, I still love studying people. The difference now is that I get to both understand human problems and build technology solutions.

This site is my corner of the internet — part portfolio, part diary. I have a lot of thoughts about the world around me: some opinions, some educated hypotheses, some observations from the slivers of my reality. They'll evolve, and this is where I capture that evolution in (somewhat) real time.
